The iPhone has no new features
The iPhone has no new features. The iPhone is not the first phone to have music, video, internet, address book, calendar, and the ability to check the weather.
In fact, if you look at the feature list of a Blackberry before the iPhone, you’ll find it does the same things.
But what’s different? Why is the iPhone infinitely better than the Blackberry?
Look closely at the address book on the iPhone and the address book on the Blackberry.
Does the iPhone address book have the same features that the Blackberry address book has?
Yes.
Does the iPhone calendar have same features that the Blackberry calendar has?
Yes.
Can the Blackberry play music and movies? Can the iPhone play music and movies?
Yes and Yes.
So what’s different?
Let me tell you a secret: The iPhone “feels” better to use. I’m going to repeat that because that’s very important.
The iPhone feels better to use.
The user experience on the iPhone is infinitely better than the user experience on the Blackberry. The iPhone focused on better experiences through great design. Not new features.
Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.
The wrong question is: What can your app do?
The right question is: How does your app feel?

Hi,
The app looks great, still hesitant to use/buy it though. I would like to know if there is going to be a feature for preset times soon. That would make it the ultimate app for speech timing.
great job so far!

You miss it again, the iPhone is easier to use. It was designed to be easy to use, rather than just a menu with access to all the functions of a phone, like most other phones out there. It took apple to actually design a descent UI, while titans of the industry like Nokia, Ericsson, Motorola fumbled the ball.
